All Payments are in advance, cash or check.
Key Collection
Key is collected at initial consultation. I generally hold on to keys. Keys are not labelled with any recognizable details. I have a coding system in place. If you do want your key returned there is a $5 return fee.
Reservations
Reservations are accepted up to 90 days in advance.
If you have an upcoming vacation and want to plan ahead, 50% is due at initial consultation and 50% due prior to vacation.
Payments
Full payment is due for first-time clients on start of service.
Once established for regular visits/dog walking, you can pay weekly or monthly, whichever is more convenient for you.
Cancellation Policy
I understand your plans may change. Due to being a sole proprietor, I do not overbook. I may have also turned away other clients to accommodate you. Therefore, I have a cancellation policy.
For overnight pet/house sitting:
- Cancellations made within 7 days of service start date – no fee will be due.
- Cancellations made within 6 days or less of service start date – 50% of total fee will be due.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service start date – 100% of total fee will be due.
Dog walks/pet and house sitting visits (daytime):
If you contact me the day before your scheduled visit, there is no cancellation fee due, however if cancelled on the day, the full fee will be due.
No refunds for holiday cancellations.
If others are accessing your home during contract period – ‘HappyPetsBoise’ cannot be held liable for any damage to property or pets as a result. If someone else will be in your home when you are gone, please share this information with us, as well as their contact number.
